CMC Media Ltd will handle PR for an all new motor racing championship being launched in the UK in 2020 – Clio Cup UK.
Clio Cup UK is being supported by Renault Sport Racing and will appear mainly alongside the high profile British GT Championship plus two events overseas (France and Spain).
The championship will be for Renault Sport’s brand new ‘fifth generation’ Clio Cup race car.
CMC Media Ltd’s role will be to help oversee on-line (web, social media) and overall promotion whilst liaising/communicating regularly and effectively with stakeholders.
CMC Media Ltd handles PR for dynamic business estate Silverstone Park – adjacent to the Silverstone Formula 1 circuit on the Bucks-Northants border.
We started PR work on this project when developer MEPC took over management of Silverstone Park in late 2013.
Since, we’ve played an integral role in helping MEPC build the Silverstone Park brand and business offering.
Silverstone Park is now a global business destination, chiefly in high-tech engineering/manufacturing across sectors such as automotive, defence, electronics and software development, marine, medical devices and motorsport.
CMC Media Ltd arranges full content for Renault Sport’s (R.S.) monthly e-newsletters in the UK.
This includes all research, writing and image editing. The e-newsletters are distributed to around 40,000 subscribers each time.
Content is carefully selected so that it is relevant to the audience, thereby maintaining interest in the R.S. brand in the UK.
This can include:
The above requires sound journalism skills (thorough research, interviewing techniques, understanding news angles, creative writing, picture editing and hitting strict deadlines). As well, strong and clear lines of communication with the client…
Renault Sport’s following is among the largest and most loyal for any sporting arm of a manufacturer in the UK.
CMC Media Ltd is as a volunteer business of client Silverstone Park’s Inspiration for Innovation programme which improves career advice for teenage school students.
Being a volunteer business means we give up our time free of charge to work with classrooms or smaller groups of students.
In 2019-20 this will be with Kingsthorpe College in Northampton, Sponne School in Towcester and The Buckingham School (Buckingham).
Working with other volunteer businesses, the target is to raise awareness of the different types of careers opportunities available to young people.
Just as importantly the career pathways that can lead them to those careers whether higher education, apprenticeships, vocational etc…
CMC Media Ltd founder Carl McKellar’s path was very much ‘vocational’ and so he hopes to highlight the values of instinct, initiative and gumption and even admitting to/learning from mistakes!
